The “Reaching In: Navigating and Healing from Micro-aggressions” Workshop, presented by the University Partners Program and the Counseling Center, will take place on December 1, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Many students of various racial and ethnic backgrounds often face race-related stress while navigating college and other environments. This type of stress can have a negative effect on overall well-being and academic performance. During this workshop, Counseling Center staff will lead a learning discussion about what micro-aggressions are, their impact on our well-being, how to respond to them, and coping strategies for race-related stress.
