ABOUT EVENT

The Academy of Academic Excellence Awards provides an opportunity for OMSE to annually recognize the academic excellence of undergraduate multi-ethnic students within the University of Maryland Community. Students are recognized for academic excellence in two categories:

• Students with cumulative 3.5+ GPA
• Students with cumulative 4.0 GPA

We also recognize university faculty, staff, tutors and mentors who have made outstanding contributions to advancing the inclusive excellence of multi-ethnic students on campus.

Note: Thank you for your overwhelming enthusiasm in support of our amazing students and champions for diversity! Our website reached its capacity prior to the premiere of tonight’s program with 11,000 visitors-our largest audience ever for the event!
